I have had an avid interest in steel creations and fabrication for as long as I can remember. Working in Civil Construction for most of my adult life, I became restless and knew I needed to make a change. Starting with rough steel creations that were cold hammered – to fabrication of a trailer for my side x side.. which then lead to the purchase of my first forge & tools needed to start the deep dive into all things steel, with my main goal to become a knife maker.

I was located in the Fraser Valley of BC however in order to make a serious change, leaving the lower mainland was a must to bring down the cost of living…the move to Quesnel, BC was put into action. With the house in Deroche, BC officially on the market, came the big job of finding the right spot in Quesnel, with a solid house & enough shop space to dig in to life’s new journey.  With only a month to make the choice of where JM Forge Fabs landing spot would be, the sweetest spot was found just off the Barkerville Hwy.

Let the forging begin!…

Officially with 6 years experience, self taught all the way, my creations have grown from knives, gold mining tools, gardening tools, hooks., firepits, Christmas decorations, custom table legs..let’s just say if you have an idea, I am  interested to hear about it and love to make those ideas come to life.

If you are in the Quesnel area, you will find me at the local Farmers Markets/Artisan Fairs and the Alexandria Farmers Market, great people there.

If you are not in the Quesnel area and would like to add one of my creations to your collection, reach out through the contact link, shipping arrangements can be made within North America. I look forward to hearing from you.
